Artist's Description
This was created in photoshop as an art piece for my gallery for the 2021 NFL Hall of Fame First Friday, in Canton, Ohio. My focus was creating football themed art and I'm working on images on Smokey for his book, Puppy Love. he is also my studio mascot and is always with me for art shows.
About David Martin
I'm a graduate of the University of Akron from 2004, where I majored in photography and painting. I reside in Canton, Ohio and work in my darkroom as well as my small studio in my basement. Art has saved my life as it has been my therapy for my being diagnosed with having Bipolar, OCD, and Anxiety several years ago, after my medical discharge from the Navy in 2011. Since 2011 I've been working on many things and like to work on several projects simultaneously. Currently, I'm working on several paintings, a self portrait from my time in the Navy, a photography book series from my travels out west several years ago, where I took over 50,000 digital images as well as over 50 rolls of black and white film, and I'm working on putting...
