Cat in Barn Long Sleeve T-Shirt

I took this one summer day in 2002 pro my first advanced photography course in college as an undergrad student. I took this with my canon 35mm camera and the film I used was Kodak Tri-x. I found this kitten sitting on a can in my cousin's farm at a large family gathering and took the image. Like many of my other black and white photographs that I didn't use for any of my college projects, I later turned this one into a painting. The sad part about this kitten is that weeks later it got ran over by a horse while it had crawled under the horses fence not knowing that a large animal would soon be taken it's life.

I'm a graduate of the University of Akron from 2004, where I majored in photography and painting. I reside in Canton, Ohio and work in my darkroom as well as my small studio in my basement. Art has saved my life as it has been my therapy for my being diagnosed with having Bipolar, OCD, and Anxiety several years ago, after my medical discharge from the Navy in 2011. Since 2011 I've been working on many things and like to work on several projects simultaneously.
