This image was taken on Smokey's very first First Friday and he was shy. It was the first Friday in August of 2019, in Canton, Ohio, and it aligned with the NFl Hall of Fame Festivities. So, he was given a football jersey. I happen to be a Steelers fan and had him wear a Steelers jersey. people from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania stopped to take his picture as we were walking into the art gallery. He enjoyed it!
I'm a graduate of the University of Akron from 2004, where I majored in photography and painting. I reside in Canton, Ohio and work in my darkroom as well as my small studio in my basement.
