As a street photographer I photograph every moment that I see which I find most interesting. I was sitting in my parent's from room and my dad's pug Bandit had crawled up on the couch sitting on the top over his head. My camera is always near me and though this was nothing new, I thought it would make for a sentimental image. Later while I was painting on another painting, I thought that this would make for a great painting since I was studying my favorite painter, the Norman Rockwell. It resembled a Norman Rockwell Painting to me and he was my inspiration for being a painter and becoming an art major in college after I studied him in high school in my first art class. I always knew that I wanted to be an artist but it wasn't until my first high school art teacher introduced me to his paintings and magazine cover paintings.

I'm a graduate of the University of Akron from 2004, where I majored in photography and painting. I reside in Canton, Ohio and work in my darkroom as well as my small studio in my basement. Art has saved my life as it has been my therapy for my being diagnosed with having Bipolar, OCD, and Anxiety several years ago, after my medical discharge from the Navy in 2011. Since 2011 I've been working on many things and like to work on several projects simultaneously. Currently, I'm working on several paintings, a self portrait from my time in the Navy, a photography book series from my travels out west several years ago, where I took over 50,000 digital images as well as over 50 rolls of black and white film, and I'm working on putting...
